Well, I entered and went to the web site and signed into my account (I already had one). I don't see any "pink unicorn" wait list (?). I did go on the "notify me when in for the NEA102" e-mail list.

I hope that's what the mystery is all about.

NEA makes AR-15s. What is the difference between the 102 and a restricted AR-10?

It says all 3 colors are sold out for the NEA 102 presale. I don't see a waiting list but I signed up for stock notify if that counts for anything lol.......aw.

As I understand it, the original AR10 is non-restricted.

The modern AR10 we are familiar with is a scaled up AR15, and so is restricted as a variant.

The NEA102 is a modern copy of the original AR10, and so has been deemed non-restricted.

This is as cool as it gets!

I was out to SFRC last week and they are rearranging the storefront. I have not had a chance to see it in person. Maybe next week.

Wait a minute, I'm on SFRC's page for the gun, but I can't get on a "wait list/pre-order list" because they are all sold-out... If I'd have known the deadline for winning a rifle that has already been spoken for by GOC was effectively determined by the amount of people pre-ordering it, and that the website had a cut-off limit for pre-orders to begin with, I would have signed-up a lot sooner...

Or am I just not doing this right? I applied to be notified for stock updates. Does that count for anything?

That is a very high percentage of all members. With 18,810 members, that is a 72% turn out. Yes there are inactive members which will push that percentage even higher.
