We've got squadrons of those little black birds that run the crows off.........but they'll likely be in there. Have a couple s'toon trees right beside. Hope that draws some of their attention. Not expecting much until canopy's develop.

Finally got a cloths line put up. It'll save some power in every day use and less to worry about doing if the grid goes down for any amount of time.

Over the past week, I've been putting together my wood cutting/splitting/carrying rig. Yesterday, junior and I went out and cut 2 tons of solid heat for winter.

How much is a "run" ? Not trying to be a smart ass....just never heard the term before.

Today, I got the last of the first load split, moved, and piled in the yard.

I also have wood burning fireplace and i love it. My mothers neighbor had a bigger pile than that and some jerk phoned and bitched to bylaws and he had to move it.I would have been so choked. Some people have nothing better to do.

I put this together today. 400W inverter. And a 7.5 amp solar charger. Makes it a lot easier to carry around.
I use it in the wall tent. For a 40w Led light. And a radio. I had one of those Ca Tire battery boxes with the jump start. It only lasted 2 years. The battery was also small. this one I can take the battery out and use it for the boat.

Thanks for reminding me. I have some wild cherry and maple to cut up. And take to the cabin. Anyone try burning holy or sequoia. I have some large ones that came down during springs ice storm.
