I've shoot a couple of thousand with no issue . What other ammo have you tried . Also what was done to the rifle cause you could possible have other issues.

    My bolt action likes it.
the wild still lingered in him and the wolf in him merely slept

Go to the range and put 1 round in say 4 mags, then tell me if your bolt locked back on all of them.

It's a Franken gun so it has parts from all different manufacturers. The bolt id Daniel defence, barrel is rainier arms, handguard is kac. Upper and lower are nea. I didn't actually assemble the upper I took it to a gun smith to put the handguard on. I haven't tried any other ammo yet but even this stuff one box will be fine and another will have a bunch of failures from feed failure to light primer strikes to just plain duds. I'll try some new ammo see how that goes. Or should I take it back to a gunsmith?
