My first was a Stevens Model 87D 22 semi i bought from my cousin. My first centrefire was a 7600 pump carbine in 30-06 my father bought from his aunt when his uncle died. Still have both. They do need to get out and be used more.

The first I bought was a Remington 700 chambered 30:06 bought in 1978. I still have that gun, can't remember the number of animals it has taken. Had to restock it a few years ago as I was in a wreck (on the way hunting) and the stock got beat up pretty bad. so was I. Wish I could have got a restock as well lol

The OPP had finally released my dad's firearms. I picked them up last month. My first rifle ended up being the one with which I was taught to shoot - 30-30 Winchester. Also got his .303, and .410. I'll be needing some photos to get some more info from you lot about them

My first rifles were given to me the day I got my license. I got my dads browning blr.22, and my grandfather gave me a Remington model 4 in 30-06. The model 4 was ordered by my uncle in 1984, sadly he passed away at the age of 19 before it came in. There was only two shells ever fired through it before it was given to me 22 years later. I've shot one deer with it, but now it is a safe queen because of the sentimental value. I hate taking it out in the rain and snow.
Keep your powder dry, shoot strait!!!!

My first rifle was a Lee Enfield .303. I never shot anything with it. Bought a Savage Model 99C in .308 shortly after I turned 16.
