Now you've got yourself a pretty nice rifle for a decent price.
You aren't going to have to worry if you have 'enough' gun, it's got some real oomph.
It might be worthwhile taking up reloading to be able to feed it regularily, though.

Yeah that's the plan. Buying ammo is pretty near impossible although I found some from a guy in Calgary. 100 bucks a box for factory new ammo is a great motivator to reload!
The gun came with the reloading dies so I just need to set some money aside for the rest of the gear.
I'll haunt the forums until I find someone disposing of their reloading equipment.

Still working on the bride of Franken gun. The stock painting is just about done. I didn't paint the recoil pad and have mixed feelings about it.
Any thoughts about the black pad? 20170126_070253.jpg20170109_203911.jpg

I wouldn't paint the pad. The camo looks good, nice work.

That looks really good, and no, don't paint the pad.
It'll just flake off as the pad flexes anyways, and just look like hell.

Yeah, I'd leave the pad alone too. I could see flaking and cracking of the paint being an issue and there's really nothing wrong with the way it looks.

Looks great Saskminer! Now all you need is some trigger time on that unit.
How do I change my signature to something about Bacon?
