    I'm sure the crossfire will be good enough until you're ready for better glass. I've got a Diamondback HP on my .257 Weatherby, found it a little sharper (and it better be for $200 more), but no complaints....

    I'd stick with the Burris.

    as an owner of both scopes, id keep the burris on the tikka, i found the lower level vortex just dont like magnum rounds very much( my personal experience ), , burris makes a good product though,(both are good really) the tikka i had in 7mm had one, i shot it for a few months and sold it to a buddy, and he`s been shooting the heck outta that thing for the last year and loves it

    either way, enjoy the new rifle, and the limbsaver...lol

    Has anyone had a problem with the burris scope mounts? I had tthe rear bolt head shear right off after my first shot! Im really not happy right now as i was planning on black bear hunting tmw....

    The scope moved an eighth of an inch forward on the front ring.

    I use Burris XTR rings and signature zee rings(with the inserts)....have not had any problems to date, but all products have screw ups from time to time.
