I love my 336c in .35 rem. I have a 4 x 20 scope on it and for what it is intended for, brush gun, it is perfect.

Do you have the Firesight dovetail set or the firesight peep set? I have not had the chance to look at either of them yet. I'm looking for something that will work well in the brush at short range.

    I have the WILLIAMS FP-94/36
    https://williamsgunsight.com/product/williams-fp-9436/
Then, I got the front blade with the fibreoptic rod in it.
    One of these:

If I were to do it over again, I'd just go straight to the:
    https://williamsgunsight.com/product...ht-set-5d-336/
It gives you the fibreoptic up front and the 5D receiver sight.
I think I'd actually prefer the 5D sight, as it has a setscrew so you can take the top part of and re-install it without losing zero.

I have one of these and it is a hoot to shoot! The pre Remlin, old JM, gloss blued, hex barrel, 10 shot .45-70 version.

There's something about that long hex barrel that just does it for me

Those of you that just posted you have a marlin. Are any of them bought after the remmy take over? I would love the SBR in 45-70 but I am concerned with quality. Truthfully I'd rather have a Henry, but i don't like how they load and it only holds 4 rnds compared to Marlin's 6 ( of course if you can't kill something with 4 rnds of 45-70 you should just put the gun down and let nature take it's course)

I did not shoot it too much, so I sold it.
