    I believe these guns to be designed for the pellet type charges, and can use loose...so if it's advise you're after, I would recommend using what the gun was designed for rather that a propellant that "will work".
    As Tigrr stated, don't start with 150 grains (3 pellets?)...that is one hell of a lot of powder. A hunting load in my Hawken (.50 caliber) might look like 120 grains of black (Goex). Range loads are more along the lines of half that.
    100 grains powder in those guns. Thats the absolute limit. I havenít used it yet but I hear the best powder for clean burning and getting multiple shots before having to clean is buckhorn or black horn. Not sure the name. . I hear great things.
