    Burning duds is an acceptable practice, won't do a damn thing unless super super super crimp on the bullet. Cooking off .22 is the most dangerous due to the heavy crimp but even they are not "dangerous" per say. Might get a primer or brass pop out of the fire and burn you but outside of a firearm's chamber, rounds can not build much pressure and so can not cause much if any harm. Throw em in the burn barrel with your shot up (hopefully lol) targets.
