    Go here. Only borders you'll deal with a Provincial. May be too expensive for an inexpensive rifle though. A Mossberg 151M is only worth ~ $175ish. $45 for 4 ounces of bluing solution is $45 you'll never get back if you ever sell the thing.

    Remember that the key to a good bluing job is the quality of the prep work. That'd be how well you do the polishing.
    How many coats are on the stock?

    There are 14 coats on the stock down to 2000 grit then a coat of past wax. I am not worried about the cost so much I just like to restore these old guns and that much rust bluing solution will do a few guns. I also have an old double barrel 20 gauge shotgun i am going to restore after this one it is a Trust Eibarres Eibar. Thanks for all your help
