Yes. This rifle is carbine length. The 180b was rifle length.

Fit and finish are far beyond what I imagined for a rifle in this price range. Well done Wolverine. Now I just need to sneak away and go blasting! The trigger is gritty and heavy, but not what I imagined based on what the drama club had to say about it. I will simply do the paracord method of smoothing it out, the heavy trigger is good as long as it breaks clean. This thing is insane bang for your buck. I'll do a range report in the next few days.

The gas block is touching if not a fraction of a mm away from the handguard as others were saying. Guess what, I don't particularly care, this is a 1G rifle.

    Wow. Looks nice and solid.

How is the gas block held? When I had my 180b, the 2 set screws loosened and started to short stroke then FTE and FTF ensued. Had to tigthen both and checked before shooting.

I'm not certain. I'll take a look at some point.

Why not just buy the rights/patent to the AR-180B?

I think they've made improvements over the original design...

The ar180b is probably old enough to be public domain by now I'd imagine, just like the ar15
The name might be the only thing still trademarked, hence the wk180c name
the wild still lingered in him and the wolf in him merely slept

Liberty is not a thing for the great masses of men. It is the exclusive possession of a small and disreputable minority, like knowledge, courage and honor. It takes a special sort of man to understand and enjoy liberty and he is usually an outlaw in democratic societies. - H.L. Mencken

What would that get them over what they have now? Other than adding $100 to the cost of the rifle to cover the cost of buying the rights/patent.

    It was just a thought.
