Has anybody had any experiencing with this scope mount? Its kinda like the megwedge but looks lower and keeps the factory dust cover pin.

I wouldnt use it. While it uses the factory dust cover pin, that pin has a bit of play in it. That is why dust cover scope mounts dont hold zero is due to that play. Locking into the rear sight may alleviate some of this, but since it is the same price as the maxwedge and the wartak, and bith of those pin directly through the dust cover, basically locking to the reciever as well as the rear sight, why bother. Imho the maxwedge isnt that high. And since that ebay one also uses the rear sight as a mounting point, it will be the same height. Since sks rear sights are standard.

Hmm...
I see positive and negatives in the design but defiantly if you pick this up please post up with your results.

Only ships to the USA. What are you going to do get it shipped to Bellingham and try and smuggle it? Can you bring it across? Or will they seize it? You might get diahrea trying to bring it back across the line worrying about it.

I get accessories shipped to the border all the time, as long as it's declared customs doesn't care, at least at this end of the country they don't

I still recomend the maxwedge or the wartak. Replacing the chicago screw with a hitchpin is simple, and a lot more solid than the factory pin.

I like my BC Tac scout rail. 6 or 700 rounds in and still working great. Just have a small selection of scopes or dots to choose from if you want to be able to disassemble.

I like it when the shells fly straight up. It's the only one I own that does that. How well does a dot work on a SKS? Or should a guy get a little one with cross hairs?

I did the side ejection mod on mine so there's no chance of shells hitting the scope, or falling down my back anymore ;) . My Bushnell TRS-25 keeps the overall cost reasonable and I think it works great. smaller 3moa dot with 11 brightness settings. Can keep both eyes open with ease, and speeds up target acquisition, compared to irons. I also love my stripper clips and wanted to keep using them. I could put a scope on it now, but then i probably couldnt get the gas tube off. I might be able to get away with it with high rings.

I would like to try out the new scope mount that Murrays Gunsmithing has developed for the sks.

I wonder if the bolt is able to slide out with that. Looks good.

Don't like that you will have to drill then tap this mount when there are other options out there were this is not needed but it wouldn't be that bad if you use compact scopes.

And there is no way in hell the bolt will come out without removing the mount either
