I saw a magazine size (not capacity) extender last month at the Calgary Shooting Centre for the LAR15 Pistol Mags on a guy's AR15. I neglected to ask him wear he got 'em but they seem way more helpful for allowing the short magazine come out of the magwell, and of course look a little cooler than the sad looking 10 round mag.

After ALOT of searching, I found em on S&J Hardware. Do you guys think these would be worth it for $30 and has anyone picked these up themselves?

The link to their item in question is here (http://sjhardware.com/store/modules.php?name=catalog&file=product_info&cPath=102_114&products_id=765)

Thanks!

They are worth it. The name of the guy who makes them is GSdesigns. He can be found on CGN using that name. You can order direct from him also he will answer your questions promptly. He makes a lot of 3D stuff.

This is a neat idea. LAR mag couplers help with capacity and length, but they have their own problems too. I wonder how the hold up to being dropped. For example during magazine changes?

The description says they are weighted specifically to being dropped out of the magwell easier, but I guess I'd have to find out for myself. Time to give GSDesigns a shout
