View Full Version : Cocaine Cowboys

I just finished watching the 2006 documentary about the cocaine trade in Miami, featuring Jon Roberts and Mickey Munday. It's pretty crazy to think that Miami was essentially entirely built with drug money (like many other cities, I'm sure). The corruption in this world never ceases to amaze me.

A feature film has been in the works for some years now. Mark Wahlberg is said to be starring, perhaps with Jennifer Lopez.

additional info is easy to search for on the above.

then there's the licenced legal importers of paste's and leaves of the major producing coca plants, that being a company in the U.S., the cocaine hydrochloride pure extract after chemical process is then sold by the company to pharmaceutical companies for production of anesthetics, the other extract is sold to: Coca-cola... for flavouring, just as it were when it first began as real coca-cola, now minus the cocaine hydrochloride.

there are also a few companies that are licenced in Canada as well.

So, a question is:
where does all the busted narcotics go? not all destroyed, why? because it's money for gov't to sell off to pharmaceutical companies to produce legit pharmaceuticals.
and there's always the back doors for the other side deals.
