Hello everyone, thought I'd post the match schedule for the C.H.A.S. "service Rifle League" for 2014. We have moved to C.H.A.S. from Spruce Grove Gun Club, on invitation, and are looking very forward to a great year and many more to come. Please check out the C.H.A.S. webpage for other events taking place there.

For Edmonton area shooters, C.H.A.S. has not closed it's membership!!

11 May Service Rifle/Service Pistol
08 June Service Rifle/Service Pistol
13 July Service Rifle/Service Pistol
10 August NRA Larger Bore 200m
14 September Sniper Rifle/Service Pistol
12 October NRA Large Bore 200m
09 November Sniper Rifle

Matches begin at 12 noon, match fee $5.00 for C.H.A.S. Gun Club Members
Non members pay an additional $ 20.00 day pass

Service Rifle and NRA Large Bore rifle = any military rifle (or civilian version) from any country from any time period.
(Optics up to a max of 4 power magnification allowed)
Service pistol = any military pistol revolver (or civilian copy) from any time period from any country
Sniper Rifle = any rifle any sight within caliber restrictions of the range

Here is the course of fire for the Service Rifle match:

300m
5 rounds sitting, 3 minutes
5 rounds sitting snap, 1 round for each 5 second exposure
5 rounds Prone, 3 minutes
5 rounds Prone snap, 1 round for each 5 second exposure
200m
10 rounds prone rapid in 30 seconds, (2 magazines)
5 rounds prone snap, 1 round for each 3 seconds exposure
5 rounds sitting snap, 1 round for each 3 second exposure

This looks interesting. I love 3 gun. May wana do some of these competitions too. What do the sniper rifle competitions consist of?

If I manage to find my 30-06 FN49 at Calgary this year, I would be in

EDIT: I found it! Getting a new FN49 in 2 weeks!
