Thanks for looking coastal.

:)

I wonder what it would take to make a muzzle loafing safety thread into a sticky?

I think 120gr of HS-6 would blow up most anything shy of 75mm :eek1:

Was this made in response to buddy there that started preaching that CVAs were junk because all the smokeless loads had finally grenaded his rifle?
Oh, maybe that was Savage???

Neat! Ka-boom! I wonder if anyone has a video of trying this with those Savage smokeless powder rifles? I didn't catch it, did he make mention of having a witness mark on your ramrod to make sure the barrel is empty?

I didn't hear him say it and I was listening for that.

One reason I was wondering about having a sticky for shooting and safety.

He did say be sure, but newbies may not know how to be sure.

Ya he could have given a few tips on what to do to check things, like the witness mark on the ramrod. Other than the neat blowups all are things that we teach in firearms saftey course.

I think the whole point of the video was to NOT use smokeless in a smoke pole...if not...then I missed it...

I shoot antique damascus with light loads of black powder the barrels have been proofed and measured and have no pitting. I still have all my fingers. This makes me nervous considering these are all modern guns. Thanks for the video.

One way to check muzzle loader is to run the ramrod down
and listen for a clang, not a thud. Clang is unloaded.
