View Full Version : Is there a secret battery store?
I know I can just pick them up almost anywhere but I'm wondering if anyone's found a great place to buy your sight batteries?

Battery world. They are by far the cheapest I have found
That's where I was planning on going but thought I'd ask since I'm cheap and don't want to pay any more than I have to. Thanks!

I bought . . . 40? I think it was 40 CR123s for $50 off of . . . battery station? They've got some cool deals where you get 2 dozen batteries shipped to you in a pseudo-pelican waterproof case.

I bought a bunch of chap coin type batteries from KMS Tools in Calgary a couple years ago. I imagine the store in Edmonton probably carries them too. Princess Auto used to sell them cheap as well, but I can't say I've looked lately.

Necropost time! Still first page, ergo RELEVANT.
Interstate Battery on 156 and 114 ave. I think I got my 2032s for $3 a pop before using my sister's discount. They have good prices on AA, AAA and various oddballs. And they FREAKIN' LAST. Girlfriend's camera runs on AA, usually drains the high-test rechargeables meant for cameras within 100 photos. These ones double that and then some.
They've even got a battery for your motorcycle, car, and cell phone too.

I bought a bunch from Princess Auto for my digital calipers, they don't last very long. I think they were 8 to a package, cheap and i won't buy them again.

Oh, I have an extra Interstate 2032 if you need one, DOA. It's sitting in my truck, still in the wrap.
I picked up a few from Battery World last summer so I'm good, but Thanks!

The thread that won't die:)
Warriors and wonders in Vancouver. Quality CR123s. Or eBay. Looking for a source of local 1/3N batteries if someone knows a good place. It's for the Lasermax 10/22.
Thanks!

Look in the surplus section in Princess Auto. They had a 6 pack card of lithium batteries on for $1.99. They aren't garbage either. I was putting one in my digital vernier height gauge every 2 months since I got it. I bought these ones 6 or 8 months ago, and I'm still on the first one. I went back last week and bought 3 more cards of them. Even without the sale, they're regularly only $3.99
