My scope for my .308 the reticle started to move, so after a lot of shopping, I picked up a Redfield Revenge. The scope has a 6x18x44, which with my eyes is good. The other problem was focusing on a target beyond 300 yards. So far I'm happy, has anyone else tried these scopes?

no, but i'm interested in your impressions of it. Sounds positive so far.

haven't finished sighting it yet, just bore sighted, I do like how clear the image is at 200 yards, though I think I'd prefer a tacticle reticle more, but the price was really good, so....

I got a redfield 3-9x43 coming. Its the 4-Plex reticle... Not the accu range one so no range marks either on mine.. Canada Post is being slow... Think they are delivering via camel or something... But can't wait to sight it on.. I haven't even pulled the trigger on my 270 yet as that's what its going on... I do have a 40yd range set up, thinking of cutting some grass to make it 500yd.

Which one did you get Blackwolf? The Accu Ranger or the fine Plex?

The fine-plex. But in hind sight, I'd have gotten the Accu Ranger.

Topher, start small, "aim small miss small" After you bore sight it, then work from 27 yards which is the same as 200 yards for a 270. get very small groups. Which you will need consistent ammo for. Cheap doesn't always cut it. small groups at 27 yards means when you practice out further then you will not have the problems with just going straight to 200 yards. Every year I start out small and correct my mistakes which get amplified on longer shots.
