Once again, Owen made off with our main topic this week leaving Trevor and Matthew at a loss for what to focus on. Fortunately, after only one false start, we finally got a good suggestion from a loyal (yes, that is meant as a dig) listener. This week, it's all about how to get the younger generation involved in the shooting sports.

Once again we get to see what Trevor and Matthew can do without adult supervision.

Apparently Owen will sometimes listen to the show if he's not on... so Trevor and I have to behave... somewhat. ;)

A couple of show topic ideas you might want to try (not that the 'call a random listener' segment wasn't a hoot):

Firearm maintenance tools and supplies - What you should have on your bench and what should you have in your range bag.
Reloading Bench or gun maintenance bench set up / organization. I believe the gene that drives tool organization is recessive, at least in me.
Travelling with a firearm - keeping one in your car legally and safe, flying with one, storing it (if legally required) when on the road, what can you bring back across the border from the US (dealing with ITAR restrictions, what do you claim and how, paperwork, etc.).
For a dry but probably useful topic: How firearm laws and regulations are enacted, and cancelled, and who is responsible for enforcing the various levels in Canada?

Just a couple for you to consider.

I'm trying to clear my schedule to make it to the charity shoot but it depends on if/when an upcoming Army Reserve event I'm involved with, happens or not and on what date.

Cheers,
