That is the question Justin Trudeau was asked.

Here's his answer:

http://cnews.canoe.ca/CNEWS/Canada/2014/08/15/21877321.html

"The biggest threat to global security is the kind of violence and misunderstandings and wars that come out of resource depletion, economic uncertainty, concerns of lack of hope for generations growing up in a world that is getting smaller and seemingly less and less fair."

Isis? Nope.

Islamic fundamentalists? Nope

Putin? Nope

Misunderstandings and a lack of hope? YUP!

PS - Which war is currently being fought ove resource depletion? I must have missed it.

Tough question, my answer would be expansionist governments and nationalism.
Overwhelming government debt.

Misunderstandings is funny, I think that lead to the second world war. Germany only wanted to vacation in poland, had no plans of staying.

I'm surprised he didn't say the rising price of oil driving the price of hair product out of reach of the middle-class.

It's that kind of fluff answer that just won't stand up when he's in an actual election. Iggy tried that kind of nonsense, and it was meant to sound 'intellectual' but always comes across as fatuous and insincere.

Watching him answer questions makes me think all his "knowledge" comes from a left-leaning/socialist school teacher setting for kids around 10 years old. Maybe one of the many degrees he started but didn't finish had a course that he actually attended one day and that's all he knows/remembers. If he isn't specifically against something, he' all about consulting with 'experts' and deferring to their greater knowledge as he knows exactly nothing.

I'm looking forward to the day he loses the race for the PM job, as I'm utterly convinced that his world will completely collapse and he will retreat from the public life he thinks he's entitled to and go back to do what he knows the most about: nothing.

But as to what is the greatest threat to global security? Tolerance.

Well everyone knows I'm completely intolerant!

WHEW - I thought I might be part of the problem there for a minute, but apparently not!

Trudeau is playing the role given to him. Soft, immature, lacking experience and yet rising so high on what, his father's legacy? (Sounds like Obama's rise to power out of nowhere). This punk should never have gotten to where he is today without someone pulling the strings. The same strings that pull Harper. Foxer, you very well might get your wish for a CPC continuance of government when all the opposition has is this flake to oppose the conservatives. Depending on the amount of pot smokers in Canada who remember to turn up vote.......

I have to wonder where people get this idea that pot smokers are too lazy to get to the polls, the typical pot smoker I know work their ass off during the day and relax in the evening with a joint and a beer. They're not too baked to vote in someone who doesn't want to put them into jail.

I think the CBC might want to change the question,,

Reporter: Mr. Trudeau, what is the greatest threat to global security?

to

Reporter: Mr. Trudeau, what is the greatest threat to HOME security? and did you lock the door on the way out?
