A couple other threads got me thinking about a sling for my Norc M4-gery.

What's a good single point sling and mount for this rifle?

No idea about a mount, but here's about as simple a
sling as you are likely to find.
And, he ships to Canada.

Lots of great reading on that site, too.
Some of the recipes are mouth watering.

I run a magpul single point sling.
Works great on my AR

Yeah the cheapest and easiest way to accomplish a single point setup on a stock AR is to run the Magpul ASAP sling adapter and MS3 Sling...

Thanks! I've also been thinking about changing the pistol grip as well, but from what I've read with a Norc you never know what will or won't fit or needs to be fitted. Phoenix sells these: http://www.starkequipment.com/ (SE-2 AR-15 Sling Grip) Retail's about 90 bucks.

There is only one that I recomend.
P.S. There is a reason why Mossberg is the only AR company that comes from the factory with a stark ;)

Thanks, point taken. How does the sling attach on the Noveske? (Please bear with me, I'm still learning)

I quite like the Magpul ASAP Sling plate, but the Magpul MS2 sling leaves something to be desired. For starters it's way too thin. If you carry the rifle slung for any length of time, you will be uncomfortable. Also, during a transition, I had the quick release tab on my MS2 catch between my rifle and my chest rig and it dumped my AR in the dirt. I've also dug the muzzle in the dirt with the MS2 when I took a knee to get cover behind a barricade. While I still like single points slings for their speed during transitions and shoulder changes, most people would probably be better suited with two point Vickers sling.
:DI still want an MS3, if I could just find one in stock.
