I've been on a bender as well. All seasons of 12 O'clock High. They're all on YouTube.

I'm impressed by the number and quality of episodes in a season.
Still on the first season.

It is remarkable, and while they had the successful english version to steal the basic plotlines from, there's no doubt that they've owned it and taken it to a whole new level. The quality is huge. Kevin spacey's ability to say a whole paragraph with just a look or a twitch of an eyebrow is fantastic. The drama is incredible, yet never so much that you stop believing that all of this not only COULD happen, but probably does. There's a tonne of symbolism and metaphor and 'deeper meaning', but none of it gets in the way of the story and it's all pretty easy to catch so it doesn't try to get too 'artistic' about it.

Netflix has always said it didn't want to be a content creator, but with this show and it's runaway success (as well as orange is the new black to a slightly lesser degree) they've really proven they CAN be a content creator and that the networks should be very concerned about that as people CLEARLY prefer the netflix way of watching televsion whenever they want.

No, it was colonel mustard in the library with a candlestick. SPOILER! :)

give it a watch. I didn't for some time because 'american political drama's' aren't really my thing, but it's really way beyond that and it's absolutely worth your time.

Absolutely worth it. The girlfriend and I have been hooked since the very first episode.

Now if only Netflix could get the rights to The Newsroom.
