Intriguing....the Howa/Vanguard action is one of my absolute favorite new production rifles. (That I can afford)

I don't own one but i got to play with a Vangard working up loads, nice rifles. The one i shot had a gritty trigger but i don't know what the owner had done to it if anything and wasn't asked to tear it down.

Series one or series two trigger? My series one came pretty fair out of the box. Not quite perfect, but close enough I don't have too much of an urge to mess with it. The series two is slightly different, 2 stage? Some guys didn't like them...

I can't remember which series it was, likely one. Weight of pull wasn't an issue it just felt gritty and likely needed a cleaning, some guys do strange things to firearms. I have had some wierd stuff brought to me for a looks see, can you fix it right now.

Had vanguard series 2 and that was an awesome rifle in 240wby mag. Sold it to my buddy because he will make better use of it that I will.

Well that'd pretty much be the definition of a 'good friend' right there :)

I was thinking... hey, I always wanted a .17hornet(because there's a dumb .17cal restriction for centerfires on foxes here in PEI), one of these howa mini actions would be a nice choice.

No dice.

Why no .17hornet option howa?!

I never really stopped thinking of these rifles. This one here is exactly what I want.

Yeah, that'd be a sweet little coyote rig.

I sure like that better than the Savage 25 I had and quickly sold.

lone-wolf, aren't you on the wrong coast to be a Canucks fan, lol?

there's a few canucks fan around here. I currently have a model 25, I seriously don't see what people have against them, shoots straight, just looks weird.
