Haven't posted much so thought maybe I should just quit lurking and throw something out there.
Took some pics of my Red rifle family.
Bubba'ed 300 yard plinker and an almost plain SKS but with peep sight. And the poor girl who is waiting......

Nice!

My collection will be similar once I get a VZ58.

Hey yer "Bubba" is not over the top crazy. My Bubbified one will probably be in an Archangel stock which I haven't purchased yet.

Very nice! I've taken my 858 to the range since the unpleasantness, but it looked so weird with a trigger lock:(.
Your top Sks looks like fun:).

I intend on getting a monte carlo in wood for the top one.
Was at the range today with the top and bottom. Was very pleasantly surprised when two older handgun shooters came over to discuss the CZ and it's status. Very knowledgable and informed! Was a nice chat we had about the Govt and the potential for later trials and tribulations. My favourite quote tho was "So they grandfathered you with prohib status. Maybe I should will you all my prohibs now?" Too bad we can't get grandfathered! I am pretty sure it's just amnesty that applies to us.
The CZ sure shoots better than the SKS tho.

Frack these things are addictive.... I need to get a better picture though, one of the SVT's is now gone and there's a shooter grade 91/30 and a folding stock SKS missing... And an M38 now that I think about it.... I really need to get my paws on a CZ or Vz58.....

I like the simplified Bubba look of your first one. Too many guys go way over the top with these things and gain nothing for their troubles. What're using for a scope mount rail there?

Nice collection there! Y'know I have never noticed the safety lever on the SVTs. That is what they are right? By the trigger?
The rail system is from Scorpion http://www.scorpionscopes.com/. They sell the scope and mount kit together. I had to file a little bit but the fit is great and I am not having loss of zero issues.

Yep, a simple little bar that flicks down to block the trigger. They simplified it a step further with the SKS. I believe on the AVT's it also served as the fire selector.
