I've gotten pretty good at sharpening knifes, my method is to use a stone and then once the blade is sharp run it over a leather strap about 9 or 10 times, while doing exactly this I got to thinking about other methods, so my question is what's your method of sharpening? (this can include axes machete's and such)

first, the plural of knife is knives. not knifes. (yes i know, heil spelling nazi!! :Bang head: )

I use a Supra Korte pull through for my ordinary knives and a diamond stone for touch ups. the pull through is outstanding. for my Bark River with a convex grind, I use sand paper and a leather strop with sharpening compound.
