View Full Version : Please help my kids!

Hi everyone! I'm posting this for my girls (11 &12). They are trying to win me a new BBQ for Father's Day because ours is mostly broken and they know I barbecue all year long. They submitted an entry into a contest, but need votes to pull off their present. I know this may be a bit self serving, but my kids are trying everything to do this, and I really would love to see them feel like they pulled it off. If anyone is willing to take a couple of minutes out of their day to make these girls' week, I would be so grateful. They worked hard to create their submission and are on pins and needles because they keep moving between first and third place. You do have to register so that takes a couple of minutes, but you can vote once a day if you're over 13 and the contest closes on Thursday.
You can find them by the picture of three sad looking kids in front of a broken BBQ with the title "BBQ'd Dad. Please Help!" Thank you so much to anyone willing to take time out of their busy day to help my kids (well, and me, too, I guess) out! We appreciate it a lot!

"Sometimes we get a big fireball, and that looks pretty cool, but then Dad has to regrow his hair and eyebrows. We’re a little worried that one day he’ll get completely charred, and that would really stink, because we really love him a lot, but also because we think that burnt, hairy man would probably smell really bad. If you could help us out with getting Dad a less hazardous BBQ, we would be forever thankful!"

Good luck!

How'd it end up?
