Is there anyone who builds ar15 mag adapters for the vz58 in aluminum?

If not, would there be an interest in a product like this? What would you be willing to pay?

Hopefully US prices and not that crazy canadian markup. I thought there was an adaptor already for it made by that Israeli company. Vahal or something.

Zahal.

I know they sell it but I think they were made by Czech Small Arms. I believe they are polymer though, not aluminum.

Only found 2 sites that sell them and they are both $84...I think that is a little steep

Ok that's good to know. If the product exists, I will leave it be. Thanks for the info!

Those $85 CSA ones are in fact just POLYMER.

And the BT one (through Wolverine I believe) does not hold bolt open!

Alum ones will only work with 7.62x39

Yet people are going crazy for 139-200$ SKS mag well adapters, AND have to get the gun machined out.

I had a poly one and I gave it to dad ( whole gun ) and he likes it, the operator him hasn't broke it yet.

Question is there a market since well everybody already has these.

Wolverine has one, for 7.62, in aluminum. It's not cheap though, I think it was 170 bucks. I just bought one.

You DO have to machine the reciever here as well though. Not a big deal, but for the CZ there is a fair bit of machining to do compared to the VZ.

The CSA adapter is polymer, and I've heard of guys having problems with loose fit, the fingers breaking, etc. I wasn't going to bother risking wasting my money on a polymer piece of crap. Bolt hold open isn't a big deal to me... sure it's a cool feature, but at the end of the day, it's not a deal breaker. 10 rounds is worth it (and I'm hoping to try a .50 Beowolf mag with 7.62x39.... wish me luck :P
