The tax savings are actually substantial


When you file your income tax return, you can take advantage of a tax credit. The credit is much more generous than the tax credit for charitable donations. The credit is:
75% of your contribution up to $400,
50% of the next $350, and
33-1/3% of the last $525 (but see maximum).
The maximum credit is $650.

I wish I could enter this draw, but I'm a Candidate running with the Libertarian Party for Red Deer, Mountain View. I wanted an AR, but bought myself a Tavor a few years back. I really want something I can swap uppers with so I can do a 6.5 grenny in the future. If lets say I did win, that would look really bad on our party.

So I'm not even going to ask Cory if I can enter. You guys are lucky though.
