Actually an above-average survey there.

It seems from my results the the CPC would think me a right wing extremist.
I can live with that, I guess.

I screwed up and agreed with the GP for one question, I thought it said "new pipelines should be built" when it actually said "no new pipelines..."

I will hang my head in shame now.

Done. What a crock. I'm further right than the CPC, which is true; but somehow I also agree with the other parties to the tune of >32% each!!!
The CBC can get out of my wallet and go compete with the other networks on their own dime!!!

As long as we're discussing media and firearms

I am further right wing then the PCs the thing is I went back and use the CGC's postal code and made it look like I was a pro oil pro gun liberal voter and then went back a third time and made my self out to be a moderate oil very pro gun NDP voter... :evil1:

I live in a riding where my local Liberal candidate is actually smarter than my incumbent CPC MP.....

Who cares? Neither will be setting policy.

I care only because Lisa Raitt is disingenuous with such regularity that I just wish she would learn to lie better. I hate when people tell me bad lies to my face. Put in some effort and don't treat me like a fool.

Hmm.. put me pretty close to the CPC, but said I was a social conservative even though I was atheist, OK with abortion, OK with euthenasia, and had no interest in spiritual or religious matters.

This is what I've learned about my local candidates.

They have a lot of money to spend on field target backers.....errrr....election signs.

My CPC guy's name is Tim Upple.

You will never know they're there unless there's an election going on. Upple sends out a flyer every few years telling how great the conservatives are.

Yep..that's about the extent of the whole shooting match with my guys.

Yea, I answered the same, put me further right and down than the CPC.

https://www.politicalcompass.org, is the one I like. I wondered if they took this one and changed the wording to liberal/conservative without changing the way the answers are summed.

With 135,370 responses,
and their using postal codes to identify ridings,
this could be the best riding-level poll yet done in Canada.

I keep doing pro gun responces and Use the CGC's postal codes keep responding as a gay black gun owner or a French catholic woman with Hand guns.

I rather enjoyed this one. I ended up considerably right of the CPC in the bottom right box. Still a number of things we are not eye to eye on.
The "should handguns be banned" bothered me a bit as it was in the Law and Order category. Why not make it a property rights issue instead of always a public safety issue and see if it changes how people answer.

I ended up a little more right and down of the CPC. The funny thing is that when I put in my postal code they tried to tell me I was in the riding of Central Nova. The reality is that Harper is my MP. Nothing fishy going on here at all:rolleyes:.
