Good episode.

Trevor likes the bizarro custom ammo.

Modern varmint sounds exciting.

Sure compound shooters never wound animals- whatever, lots of deer taken cleanly with traditional gear.
The same type of people who would take poor shots with conventional archery gear would do the same with compounds, crossbows or a rifle for that matter. As far as Matt missing the butt at 10 yards, well I guess a clean miss is better than a poorly placed hit. That little archery tirade reminded me of the anti- crowd's gun facts. And as far as canned hunts, give me a frigg'in break, ever hear of fair chase? The ethics and values of the modern "if it isn't illegal then its OK" crowd certainly do not line up with my fundamental principles.

I was expecting you to ask him what he thought about the current government, and what was potentially being done to lobby them into not banning all semi-autos.

Sure, Alberta Tactical makes some bolt-actions, but their recent surge of success in the past year has been entirely because of the Modern Hunter, and they're going to have likely 5x that many orders for the Modern Varmint.

All of that goes up in smoke if semi-autos get banned, so presumably this Canadian company is hoping that doesn't happen, especially with all of the work they went through with the RCMP to get them cleared for sale.

Maybe a review of the new rifle could be arranged?

Too Much Archery No Thumbs, make that -5 thumbs

I like the archery.

Compound is so much easier to be accurate with because of all the tech involved. However, there's no excuse for lack of practice regardless of the tool being used.

Or the tool using

Or the tool using

Trev likes to practice using his tool.
