any one have any shooting experience with one ?.......in particular ....what kind of accuracy can I expect with one [chambered in .308] using selected factory ammo ......I know they are quality firearms, but can they shoot tight groups ? ......I don't know anybody who has one .

Averages anywhere from 1" to 1.5" inches at 100 yards (with factory ammunition) from anyone I talked to with one. They aren't precision firearms by any means, they are a hunting rifle.

i just felt that if tikka and sako would/could shoot under inch @ a hundred yards .......then so would a sauer [ more expensive ]......but i guess more money doesn't necessarily buy you more accuracy.......thanks for your input i appreciate it

Save your money and get a Sauer 100 XT, Much better then Tikka and Sako for that fact, smooth bolt, accurate , very accurate, i bought one in 308 last year , great firearm.

3 shots in center with factory ammo hornady 150 grain, 3 shots lower left corner of orange with hand loaded ammo, distance was 100 yards,it doesn't get better then that.
