View Full Version : CCFR Ultimate Choice Gun Giveaway

Last day to enter (up to 6PM EST). If you haven't seen this contest do yourself a favour and check it out here: https://firearmrights.ca/en/ultimate-choice-gun-giveaway/

My first choice would be the hunting package, then the long range package. But my range is limited to 100m and .308 calibre or less :( so I guess I'm "stuck" with the tactical package. Ha! Who am I kidding, I want them all!

The Ultimate Hunting package

Sako 85 Deluxe with Iron Sights in 338 Win Mag
Sako Optilock Rings and Bases
Zeiss Victory 3-12X56 w/ Illuminated Reticule

Sako TRG 22 308 Winchester
Sako 20 MOA Low Profile Base
Sako Optilock 34mm Rings
Steiner T5Xi 3-15X50 Tactical w/Illuminated Reticle
The Ultimate Tactical Shooters Package

I got two yesterday.

It's more for the donation than my chances.

I think I'd take the .308, though. Don't need another black rifle, and I don't hunt.

This is true, but I can still get excited about it! I'm going to have a tough time deciding between the .338 and the AR/Beretta..... I don't have the time to put into learning the long range game right now....

Long range for me is a load that can pick off clays at 200m using a scope that makes them look 20m away lol.

....1 hit out of 3, at worst, please. I hope that my blemmy colt can do what my Norc could not...

Or I'd keep the scope and sell the rifle :)

Someone named Kevin Bourque (spelling?) won. They raised almost $40,000 with this contest! Hopefully that will mean more in the future.

I'm still left to wonder where my membership card is and whether or not my donation even counted toward that contest. I received a confirmation that they took my money, but there was no mention of an entree into the contest. I even sent a separate email asking this. Ah well. That's a pretty nice haul. Congrats to Kevin. I wonder if he's a member here.

I finally got my card a few weeks back. It may have come earlier, but the wife had tossed it in the 'WTF is this?' mail pile.... When I sent the donation for the contest I got a lovely 'You are entered!' message on screen. Haven't noticed confirmation in the mail folder.
