Just got this optic recently thought I'd give my thoughts on it...
http://www.aimpoint.com/products/all-products/product-singleview/product/CompM4s/
This thing is a beast, super rugged and tough. The clarity is great and the larger field of view versus with the micro sights was a real difference maker for me. I came from using EoTech's and although I have no complaints about the Eo there is just something about the CompM4 that makes me feel more comfortable. I feel like I could break the Eo easier compared to the Aimpoint, it's just that much more beefy and tougher. There’s also some added protection with the included killflash, although the actual purpose of the KF is useless to me, the added protection and buffer you get for the lens really offers some peace of mind. Overall I’m satisfied, great value for the money and the performance is second to none.
If you're on the fence with this type of optic, take the plunge and buy in confidence. Optics can be found at local Canadian dealers Arms East, Questar and the Calgary Shooting Centre...
