Hi all, :confused1:

I was wondering if anyone has any information or ideas on the going prices for New England Westinghouse Mosins. I have an SA marked rifle in fair condition, with a bore that is quite pitted. Wood is good and this old girl still shoots. Just trying to get an idea of how much it might worth since I bought it awhile back now.

P.S. I read an old thread here from 2012, but I imagine the market for these rifles has changed since then.

Thanks for any info!

There was one at a gun show here last week for $350

Externally pretty decent, with a worn dark bore - rounded lands.

Only didn't buy it because I have a nice m91 and I'm not much of a markings collector. If the bore had been nicer...well.... It would have cost more I'm sure ;)

I love mosins. My favourite rifle.
I have:
91/30 with timmney trigger, and accurizing kit, long eye relief scope
91/30 hex with rare wood stock with a laminated piece of wood on stock
91/30 sniper
M24 Finnish
M39 Finnish
91/30 plain cheap one

I like them better than the semi autos I have and other British and German bolt actions

With a worn bore you have yourself a $260-$320 rifle in today's market.
