What material should I use for bedding the stock of my M305?- I have read that the bedding job might only last ~1000 rounds if thats true, is the stock eucred after that?:confused:

JB weld (cheap) will work as well as devcon (not so cheap) ,
And no it wont be ruined .

Quicksteel,mold in your fingers,apply where you want,sand when dry to fit
not near as messy as JB weld,drys hard.3000rd + hard.Regards 375rum

You can use several different epoxies.......Devcon.........Marine-Tex........JB Weld..............Devcon & Marine-Tex are the standard bedding materials used by the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps.........

I have only used quicksteel on GI fiberglass,but it works on them well.
It is an epoxy also.

go to Rona
look for Goop Marine Fixfast 2 part epoxy paste.
it's pretty much the same formula as Marine tex.
I've used this product professionally on several hundred usgi rifle stocks from bedding to repairs to major modifications, not one warranty return or complaint of failure of the Goop marine fixfast product
