Hello All, I have acquired a VZ52 non converted. Unfortunately I have been unable to find any 7.62x45 ammunition, so I thought I would just reach out there and ask if anyone knows or have any ideas where I might find any.(in Canada)
Also looking for the cleaning/tool kit from the stock.
Thank you all

Collector's Source had a few boxes at one point, and I think I might've seen it at Tradeex once....rare stuff.

The brass can be manufactured from other donors, somewhat described here: http://forums.gunboards.com/showthread.php?81545-Making-7-62x45-brass-from-6-5-Carcano#/topics/81545?_k=emk6w6

Dies are probably a small fortune, but if someone's reloading the stuff they must be out there.

Not a complete how to, but there's some decent basic info there. Other than that, asking all the old dudes at gun shows might turn up pay dirt....

Where are you located? If in the maritimes I've seen(I think, it was along side a 7.62x45 vz52 as well) some at the gun shows.

Wasn't Marstar or Canada Ammo musing about bringing some of this in bulk a while ago?

Finding original milsurp 7.62x45 is like finding hens' teeth. It makes 8x56R look like a very common cartridge in comparison. Contributing factors to its rarity is its short service life as a military cartridge and the fact that it was only issued by a relatively small nation to begin with.

From what I have been able to find, reloadable brass is rare, as are the dies. A real shame, since the VZ 52 and 52/57 are very nice rifles.

Buffalo Arms appears to make them, though:

My local Canadian Tire has 8x56R on the shelf. I was rather shocked.....but I bought a box anyway....

Thanks Chris, a connection was made, ammo on the way. Seller was kind enough to see me good for ten boxes and included my shipping, this is exciting.
