I singed up here less than a week ago,

I had a good half day here, then I seem to have gotten IP banned.

I try to log on now, and I am successful. I see I have a warning for profanity, and it is not even an infraction. What is going on?

Thanks,

Kess

If you are using a proxy IP from overseas the system can ID it associated with a spamming account and it can get banned.

Suggestion would be not to use proxy IPs

trying to hide something?

Who he really is:

knightly, Canadian1911, twiggy, nooneatall, carcinogenius, et al.

Always does a new intro though in an attempt to deceive everyone.

Can I ask, why is this not encrypted (https)?

Last VPN I run into was a girl asking for money to buy a plane ticket to come live with me.

Lol, seriously?

Yes, a lot of major websites are encrypted and for good reason. An unencrypted website, is a vulnerable website.

Perhaps you need to spend some time understanding encryption. Merry Christmas!

Apologies, I know what HTTPS means, it means that all data exchanges between my/your computer and the website are encrypted. I sure hope the actual files on wherever this is hosted are encrypted as well.
