Have any of you bought one or know anybody that bought one? I'm thinking on ordering one for a Mosin nagant. Are these stocks any good? I was going to order directly from Boyd's they have an export permit.

Lots of Boyd's stocks about, and mostly happy customers... I think I've seen a couple Mosins wearing Boyd's, in photos at least. One thing to keep in mind, these old military rifles aren't all necessarily exactly the same dimension wise, some fitting might be involved, I had to do some minor dremel work to get one of mine into an ATI.

I changed my mind anyway I ran out and bought a 1949 SKS. So I blew on that instead. I think I would rather have a laminated original Mosin stock than an aftermarket anyway.

There are some decent aftermarket SKS stocks that put your wrist at a more natural angle.
