If I made it at home I'd be inclined to still dump $30 in toppings on it, and then have it not cook properly. I'll stick with Papa John's.

Ok...Meet up party at Ceska's house. Everyone write your GOC name on your t-shirt. Bring beer. Ceska is cooking pizza and bbq and I'm sure it would be okay to let him charge cover...;D :bananna:

Mmmmmmm those are some good looking pizzas. We make our own with home made dough too, can't beat it. We use the pizza stone for perfect crust action.

Getting closer to 60 now I have to watch out for the ticker. Eating healthy is my new norm.
I want to try a pulled bear pizza. Smothered in bbq sauce. Optometrist says I have really healthy eyes. 80% of my meals is wild meat and fish. That pizza cake made my heart skip a beat. Not in a good way.

I can write the recipe down tonight and post tomorrow. I find a pizza dough really needs to cold rise in the fridge for 3-4 days after the initial rise and punch down. This not only helps the texture but also the flavour.

I usually make large batches of pizza dough. After the first rise I will freeze balls and then vacuum pack them for the freezer. Then I take the dough out 3-4 days ahead of pizza night and let it chill in the fridge.

Now this type of info is gold!
Looking forward to it.

The dough is pretty simple;

4 Cups unbleached (Alberta) Flour
2 Tb Demerara sugar ( 1/2 Tb for the yeast feed)
2 ts Kosher salt
1 1/2 Cups water (split 1 1/4 & 1/4[warm for yeast feed])
2 ts yeast
4 Tb olive oil (here in lies the rub, Extra Virgin cold pressed is key)

Mix the yeast warm water and sugar together and sit somewhere warm until frothy and doubled in size.

Now, mix all the dry ingredients in a big bowl.
Make a well with the dry and add the wet ingredients. Mix this with clean hands, it's about to get messy.
Remove sticky mass to a well floured surface area and knead for 10-15 Minutes.(add flour as kneaded [lol] to keep the dough dry and off your hands)
Cut into 2 balls and oil the surface. Let Rise 1 hour then punch down.

Now...
Freeze those balls OR Ziploc those bad boys..
If you freeze them, stick the oiled balls in the freezer overnight then vacuum pack them the next day.
If you want fresh premiere dough let that that ball chill for 3-4 days in your fridge in the ziploc untill it's staring to ferment a bit with nice small bubbles.
Either way, that amount should make two nice 12" pies.

ProTip: #1 Once you lay the dough pierce it a lot with a fork to stipple the base. Doing this step before saucing is key.
#2 Your dough should be taken out of the fridge and "awoken" for a hour or so before you try to make your disk base. If your dough is not relaxed, it will not spread easily and will pull back into a ball.
