There have been some cool bullpup rifles on the market for a while now, and some newer ones coming on (Keltec RFB, their KSG too), what are your thoughts on what the best bullpup rifle we can own here in Canada?

The FS200 is pretty sweet, so is the newer KelTec RFB, but I'm going to go with the Tavor, just because it's a sweet rifle that I hope to own sometime in the future.

Thoughts lads?

I'm a fan of FN products, if I were to buy a bullpup, it'd probably be a PS90! (Or FN F2000, if I didn't want to foot the bill for 5.7mm ammo....)

I have a shopping list for when I no longer have to pay for uni:

FS2000
PS90
RFB
UTS-15
GM6 Lynx (Pipe dream)

Can you tell I like bullpups?

While I do like several of the newer Canadian legal bull pup designs, for a shooter's with lots of experience with conventional rifles and carbines, they do take a bit of getting used to.

But what really annoys me is that the Canadian laws prohibiting bull pup stocks are still on the books. With all the new bull pups legal here now, these laws are irrelevant. Some one should tell the govt that ...
on the other hand, maybe we shouldn't rock the boat.

If we draw attention to this anomaly, they might prohibit the new bull pup rifles instead of un-prohibiting the bull pup stocks.
YECHHH!
POLITICIANS!!
they do the darndest things, don't they?

I had a KSG, neat concept but I decided to move on. Considering a PS90 since I can get one cheap, also thought about the FS2000 but I'm not sold on it yet.

Oh Tavor all the way. (http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLhdxIRaqdPjpvJ8Ryor_BDHvnVjOI0U_K&feature=plcp)

I love mine. No reload issues, fast and fun to play with. Just a beauty rifle.

The FS2000 looks like a fish, and the RFB is for CQB deer-hunting. ;)

I'd really only be interested in the Tavor and the PS90. More important guns are higher on the list for me though.

Wish I could take the beast out for a spin now and then. I weep a little when I spy it tucked in the back of the safe. Stupid pencil necked bureaucrats!

Don't, feel sorry for him as he can only keep it in the safe and can't even play with it at the range :(

The powers that be have interpreted the law to mean they don't have to issue SAP's for them any more as they are too evil and will cause those in possession of them to go crazy.

Why?

Because owning it is a right (for the few before 92) and shooting it is a privilege that even fewer have

I still like my double barrel the best but they are fine examples of new technology and no doubt fun to shoot if you can afford the ammo

computermike

Why?

The Aug was deemed a prohibited firearm and only those who were grandfathered in can own one. But while they can own one they cannot legally transport them out of their houses, so no shooting it, even on your own property. Its ridiciulous but its what we are up against.
