Can't touch it with your bare hands, but you want to swallow some of it?
You're nuts.
Put some toilet paper in the freezer now.

Gloves are mandatory. You wipe your eyes with pepper juice on your hands and going blind is the last thing on your mind.

I am really careful with my clean field technique, however, a couple years ago I found that casual hand washing was not enough when it comes to Bhut Jolokia peppers.
I was showering after using these bad boys and basically ended up not being able to open my eyes due to the burning and various other parts nearly melting off.

Of course, my better half just cackled at me curled up in the fetal position in the shower.

The only saving grace from ghost peppers is that if you macerate the pepper enough there is no ring of fire the next day. #thankyoubabyjesus

I'll post pics of my concoctions when I get a chance. :evil1:

I once made the very big mistake of accepting a dare to take a bite out of one. I'd rather get a swift kick to the nuts with a steel-toed boot than to try that again.

It's not to protect your hands its to keep it from spreading to your junk when you take a leak. Ask me how I know...

Still planning on making a ghost pepper BBQ sauce and a fiery goat curry with the last couple peppers. :pot:

You definitely wouldnt want to scratch your junk after touching that.
I once did it after chopping up some standard chilli peppers (don't know the variety).

My junk was itchy and needed a good scratch, I was wearing shorts, skin contact was made and I found the only thing that stopped the burn was milk being poured over it - not nice lol
