As the title says, we have a united right in Alberta, now we need to make sure it doesn't get populated by red scumbags.

there's two RED Tories we're better off without

Dave Quest is a former PC member of the legislature for the riding of Strathcona-Sherwood Park

Katherine O'Neill resigned her position as president of the Progressive Conservative Association of Alberta in April

AND,,, MLA Richard Starke, the PC who ran for the leadership and lost to Kenney, announced that he won’t join the UCP caucus.

I recently got on my local board to help get the numbers of Wildrosers up in preparation for the merger.

Yes, you are correct that all progressives must be flushed from the new party. The grown ups need to be in charge for the next 1000 years. One system works, the other does not.

We each need to work at our individual riding level to make certain that these Reds (Libtards) do not continue to or infiltrate our new party.

And with the so called PC's around...it should be the mission of every Albertan to make sure they do not get on any board or elected as a candidate. Progressives must be ignored, minimized, and disregarded at all times.

It seems to me that the word united does not mean what you guys think it means.....

It looks at the moment a lot of them are gravitating toward the Alberta party. mandull, lucky lukey and a few others will probably try to work a merger between the Alberta liebs and the Alberta party, so a possible left wing split now...:evil1::la::bananna:

I do believe we know exactly what it means. The old PC's had become so infiltrated by 'progressives' that a new right party formed (Wild Rose). Those PC's became so corrupt that they got tossed out, even with the left as the only alternative. The remnants of the true conservative PC's saw this and now made a choice. Now we have a viable conservative party choice once again, let us not allow it to be infiltrated and corrupted as the PC's once were. Understand, infiltration is one of the tools the socialists use to forward their objectives. We must work hard to stay pure, in spite of the leftist attempts to infiltrate and corrupt us.

So if the new United Conservative Party wishes to stay united, they will in some ways need to cater to those people. We dont need either Wildrose 2.0 as they obviously could not stand on their own, or we also don't need a party that wins one election and tears itself apart with in-fighting. Its time to move forward, work together, be fiscally responsible, and represent all Albertans.

The WildRose was the alternative. Even with Danielle Smith trying to hand it over in a gross betrayal, the Wild Rose Alliance should've been the obvious choice.

Alberta is not the same place it was. Liberals have taken over your home while you were at work.

Stop sending your kids to university, stop letting gold-digging feminists run your families. Stop accepting immigrants in blind faith.

What is awesome is that as true conservatives or classic liberals (libertarians) we now have a chance to begin the world over again under the worthless failure of a multi party, unicameral legislative system.

It is the responsibility of Wildrosers members, and those Albertans that simply want to feed their families and be left alone without gov't interference to ensure that as many people as possible see this. Those that choose to make gov't their first choice, not the absolute last resort to solve problems, need to be dismissed and shunned by society. I'm tired of working 40 hours a week plus another 20 hours in stress to pay my mortgage. I'm sick of paying for other people's health care when I can't find a family doctor of my own. I'm sick of paying for other people's kids to be indoctrinated in a public school. And I'm sick of subsidizing other people's flat screen TVs and iPhones (via social programs and theft by taxation) because of it. Thank God I don't have a family as well.

There is a number of reasons for that. The pcs had name recognition, there was a stink put on the WR by the left wing media that just never seemed to go away. And with the name thing, there are a lot of older as well as uninformed voters doing the "Better the devil you know."thing, or the "Our family's voted Conservative for decades." thing. This merger, especially with the corrupt lefty members being cleared out will move things forward.
