So I never got a shot gun. :frown1:

Main reason being I have no place to shoot Trap or Skeet. :eek1:

So I think the closest place to me is Oshawa Skeet & Gun Club. They might be taking new people for the new year: http://www.oshawaskeetandgunclub.ca/memberships-rates.html

I'm not sure if they require a sponsor.... If any knows, please let me know. Also if a sponsor is required and you are willing and able to sponsor me... Please let me know.

Also if you know someplace closer, I'm open to suggestions. Anything on the west side is basically out. There is so much traffic at Yong all the time that getting there isn't worth the hassle.

Another club in the area is Uxbridge Shooting Sports. As I recall both Oshawa and Uxbridge will permit non-members to shoot there for a higher fee. When you visit Oshawa it would be worth asking if the membership cap applies to clay target memberships. It may be that just the handgun and rifle ranges are capped.

Uxbridge: Visitors may not be permitted to shoot without an accompanying coach or senior member

same as members only.

Before you try trap, watch this video. It may be old, but the advice still holds. The view of birds breaking in the gun camera will show you exactly what you should see when you shoot a clay target.

This is common at most clubs. When you sign up for a round they will put you with a member who will show you the ropes and make sure you are following the rules.
