I was wondering if anyone has tried the cheap knock offs, and if they’re good enough for rimfire fun?

And an inaccurate scope isn’t any fun.

Not a clone, but consider something like this if you want to spend less than the $1500 an ACOG needs:

I've got the non-magnified Vortex Spitfire (1x) and it's awesome, but I'd love the 3x model.

I know someone was using an acog clone on a ar15 at the range. He said it was working surprisingly good.
But a scope that will likely randomly break/stop functioning at some point isn't all that fun.

Ive used ACOG clones for a bit, quality varies, and so does the eye relief. I had one that was slightly crooked, but another one with 2" maybe eye relief. But the lens seem clear on them.

Interesting. Ok thanks for the responses guys. I am a little concerned about some of the Chinese qc. Having it crap out, even at $150, makes it worthless. Still not sure I want to spend $500 plus, which is why I was looking at the clones in the first place.

I have one on my ISSC Mk22, for $80 it's been good.

Clear glass, kept zero for over 500 rounds. Definitely got my money worth.

It’s actually an ISSC mk22 that im looking to put one on. What is the brand and magnification? 4x is the goal here.

Well it says "ACOG" so I just call it my Chinesium fACOG... it is 4x though.

Got it off of aliexpress. The eye relief is pretty close but I like it on the Mk22.

That’s a nice pair there. Thanks. Are those the original flip up sights? They look like they fit neatly underneath the acog.

Those are indeed the stock flip ups. I was quite pleased as the optic has to be that far back for me to comfortably use it.
