I think I may be able to swing the 18 this year. It would be good to meet some forumites in person.

Well....I’d go with that too....and bring the boss along with me. Unfortunately, odds are that it would involve at least 2 flights and 3 hours of driving just to get home. Lol.

August 18th sounds great to me. I leave the next day for vacation, so it works out great for me!

EDIT: Upon further investigation, my boss (wifey) says that we leave for our holiday on the 17th. So I won't be able to make that date. I will monitor this thread for any date change that would be advantageous to me attending. (Sorry Darrell.)

I figured you would have a couple of snow bears trained up by then and you could just ride them top speed to DMAY's.

About two hours east of Edmonton.
Informal funshoot.
Check threads from previous years and you'll get an idea....

Thank you Darrell for allowing me the chance and success at becoming a member of the Mile and a Half club!

I'll be trying to save my basement again by the looks of it. Have fun guys & girls. The hill is 15 miles away and it sometimes disappears from smoke haze. Not sure where the smoke is actually coming from. See you in sept Darrell.

Well, hay is cut, targets are painted, line is pretty much ready to go. The weather looks favorable and the cook sounds organised.

Looking forward to seeing all who can attend!!

Hope everybody had a great time. Pretty good crowd, 23 shooters if my count was accurate.
Weather was great, in my opinion. Looked bad with smoke first thing in the morning....1050 yard was hardly visible, but it cleared. A little wind to make it challenging, but not stupid screaming hot like many years...
Of course we missed some of the "Regulars" who couldn't make it, but always fun to meet some new friends too.
(And we didn't start any fires)
