Here's the deal. Our plan is to grow the stock orders as well as be your import guys who can get you the stuff that U.S. Homeland security won't let you export and nobody seems to stock in Canada. For the time being, we can't bring in high capacity magazines "to be pinned here" or any other prohibited devices like that....but we're working on the permits to do it. Hopefully in the not too distant future we'll be able to bring in stuff like 5/30 pmags and keep a good supply of them in stock.

Right now...if there's something specific you've see for sale in the U.S....you just can't seem to buy it in Canada...it's not a prohibited device here....and places like Midway and Brownells and such won't export it for you, let us know. Shoot Blacksmithden, or myself a PM, and we'll let you know if it's something we can get. This will be a custom pre-order on top of our stock order with items that you want...not what we want to sell a ton of. Once we put in an order, it'll take a bit of time for it to grind through the system, but it will get here.

We currently have our TEST website set up if you want to have a look: http://www.tundrasupply.ca

Once we actually have our stock order in our hands, we'll put it up on the site and not before. It always drove me nuts to see a bunch of cool stuff listed on a site, and then read that they didn't have stock. We don't want to operate that way. Once we get the order in, we'll post it. If you see it, we have it.

As for shipping, we discussed it at length. One possibility was a flat fee, but we couldn't figure out exactly what that would be. To make a long story short, it's going to be the actual amount that it costs us. Shipping options will be Canada Post and UPS/Fedex (without the insane brokerage fees they charge because the stuff will already be in-country).

The easiest way to get us to check on something for a pre-order for you is to look at the U.S. retail sites, get a part/product number so that there's no confusion, and send us a PM here with it. Again...our website is in place, but it's just in the testing stages right now. Nothing on there right now will mean anything until we actually have the stuff in stock. We'll make the announcement when the site becomes fully active. For the time being, we'll be doing our thing here on the Markeplace.

We'll always be looking for ideas and suggestions, so feel free to speak your mind. Eventually, we hope to tailor fit the company to everybody's needs....so let us know what your needs are !

Our current payment options will be EMT (electronic money transfer), and money order. Right now, we're staying away from the credit card companies. Yes, we know we're limiting ourselves a bit by doing it, but not dealing with them helps us to keep the prices a little lower.

The cut off date for pre-ordering items will be December 1st 2012. The date we put in the order will be December 10th 2012 to let the money orders get through the mail. If we don't have any outstanding money orders we will put the order through on the 3rd of December.

Well gang, that's about it ! Have a great day, and happy shooting !

We can get most parts aslong as they are not considered a "firearm" by the Canadian government as we don't have a firearms selling permit. We can get mags along as the conform with the Canadian law. 10 round pistol, 5 round semi-auto rifle, unlimited rimfire rifle, unlimited bolt action etc. We can get stocks, barrels, uppers for AR's, slides for pistols, etc. We can't get lowers for AR's, receivers etc.

Congrats guys!

The more suppliers and gunsmiths that pop up in Canada is great. We really need to grow here so everyone knows that the gun culture is alive and kicking here. All the best!

These guys have a massive website and a half way decent search engine. Go (((here))) (http://www.brownells.com/) and see if you can find exactly what you're looking for. Shoot myself or jonanddad a PM with the part number/sku number/whatever number so we can make sure we're talking about exactly the same thing. Then we can check to see if we can get it for you, and how much.

Cheers !!!!

Thanks!

Got the PM...shouldn't be a problem getting it...just have to check the pricing for you. Dang...I like that one a lot better than the flat plate one that's currently on my 870. Might be ordering 2 of those. I have a feeling my wife is going to hate the fact that we've gone into the gun business. "No honey...I've had this for years !". LOL...oh and heres a tip from someone who's spent thousands on ham radio equipment...everything costs 5 bucks....and I mean EVERYTHING only costs 5 bucks! LOL !

ASC 10rd magazines(unmarked lar15 magazines) in the states sell for 10 for $100.
Getting them to put LAR15 on them can't cost an extra $15 each, so if you bring some in, you can probably undercut the market, maybe.

I will look into this, its not so much the marking its the USA Export costs and all the time dealing with the Canadian side. Can you get me a link to the place that sells them 10 for $100?

That reminds me, stocking some .308 & .223 stripper clips couldn't hurt. They don't seem to be common up here for some reason, or people are hiding them.

cant do that questar ratted out wolverive for importing California 10r rd mags that were remarked as lar pistol mags, back before north sylva got the exclusive.
There are no friends in the gun biz in canada, so make sure you know what you are doing, other dealers will line up to push you under the bus.

The lar pistol mags have to be made and exported as 10rd pistol mags, someone alreasy tryed to import the 9rd colt benchrest mags as pistol mags and was busted, CBSA are not as stupid as you think.

.50 Beowulf 5/10 mags.

We've got inquiries in with one of our suppliers on LAR mags and some of those Beowolf mags as well. Man, this business thing sure grinds slow when you want answers from someone on their products ! Patience...patience....patience....

As for the 1911 mags...without booting up the other computer....didn't we already have some on order ?

lone-wolf

Wilson combat ones are listed, Tripp is supposed to be 'the best' for a 10rd 9mm
Pointless if you can bring em in for less than what they sell for on their own website though. Then again people pay $25 for a savage magazine that sells for $13 directly from savage.

I hear you on the cost. We still aren't 100% sure of some of our final costs on the stock order. By the time you factor in the exporting paperwork out of the US, shipping, GST, corporate tax, income tax, business license, fee for applications with the CFO, Cdn to US exchange fees.....and heaven forbid, a bit of profit to build the inventory...man..the numbers just aren't as pretty as we'd hoped. Anyway.....we aren't giving up damn it !!! LOL. Hopefully as time goes by, we'll find some deals at some of the suppliers in the U.S. and be able to pass on to everyone, including ourselves ! My wife has been on me about a sectional sofa since we got married. This Christmas, she's getting it. That's got most of my spare cash tied up for the time being. I have a couple 10/22 parts for myself on this order, but that's about it for now. If we can pull off the firearm dealers license, we'll see what kind of stuff we can get our hands on. :shoot::)

How do you guys feel about mil sup stuff...boots, tents, cots..whatever...if I can find some ? Any interest ? I'm leaving my current full time job by spring (hopefully sooner) and I'll be doing the 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off thing. That will give me more time to travel around looking for hidden gems at auctions and such. Right now, I just can't pull it off with my working hours, and family life. Jon has been doing so much of the background work it isn't even funny...yes, I"m feeling guilty !

The Site is just in the setup and testing phase for now. We won't actually get our order for approximately 90 days. When we actually have the stuff in our hands, then we will let everyone know and everything will get posted on the Site. What we've ordered is in the first post.
