What is everyone running for tripods on their spotting scopes? 25-60 x 85mm kinda size with an angled eyepiece for the bench, mountain side or viewing the stars & moon from the deck? Orion stands seems half decent but I'd need a second stand to actually go hunting with..... I don't mind blowing reasonable $$ for a lifetime product. This is all just inter web browsing so any and all input is welcomed as the scope is at home and I had to fly into work.

I bought a survey type tripod for range use. They are the only ones I've seen that are actually sturdy and will last for a lifetime. I built an adapter to go from the survey attachment to the spotting scope attachment but I'm pretty sure you can buy them pre made as well. I think my tripod was somewhere around $125-$150. Well worth it in my opinion.
