OK enough lollygagging, sheesh, it's almost like we have better things to do than shoot!

I took tiggr's recomended targets----> http://www.targetz.com/targetzlib/10082.pdf <-----and set some up at 100 yrds-these might save on ink, but they're kinda hard to see over open sights! Adds to the challenge, lol. It was also raining like stink, so these are the first and only targets I managed to save from turning to pulp!
I wanted to see what shot worse, my Min1-14, or my SKS (I had a pretty good idea...;)) Couple of 5 shot groups for now.

First is my Sun-spot causing 180 series Mini-14 w/stock peep/Choate folder/bulk Norinco .223 on bags (the orange star is the sighter)

5 1/4" group! Not bad for a Mini! Enemies of the A-Team beware!:shoot:

Here's the bone stock '51 Tula SKS on bags; man, they don't build triggers like this anymore! (Orange star again the sighter; look, I said these were the first targets, hopefully no more orange stars will appear in my posts in this thread...)

Well colour me suprised! A 2" group right off the hop with my SKS! This actually was my best of the day, but not by much! Very fun having riffle!:shoot2:

Sooo, let's see 'em! Surely someone can shoot better than this!

LOL!
I couldn't even do that at 25 meter's.
Nice shooting partner.
P.S. It looks like your $200 SkS out shoots your $1,000 Mini-14

Installing a garage door. I will send a few downrange asap.
The worst day slinging lead is still better than the best day working.

Hey, thanks for shooting that, that,....thing for me! I thought I'd dodged that bullet, but my son has shown a fresh 4 year old passion for Spongebob...sigh. I don't think I've said "Nice range tiggr" yet, so: nice range, tiggr:)

Your SKS is...probably very reliable?

I think I'm going to start a new thread for the Postal Match using Canuck's targets....although I'd like to see a target thread, this is a shooting forum, and we all have cellphone cameras....
