That particular 22 ammo is kinda “problematic” shall we say?....

7 or 8 years ago, I dove in and bought 20,000 Winchester round nose so I haven't shot any of this stuff. What's the problem with it ?

I don't like Remington 22LR cause they're kind of dirty. They shoot fine and reliably in my Henry and Sig.
I will not be buying any more Winchester ammo as my Sig don't like them.

Every time I try running them in a semi-auto, I get lots of rounds for the six shooter. And based on numerous other threads, I’m not alone in finding a lot of guns that don’t run it smoothly.

CCI is all I will bother putting through semi autos now.

I find it amusing I can find used ruger pc carbines for $850 or I could buy a new one for $750 lol

Is it the hollow point ? My Ruger MKIII jammed them into the leading edge of the feed ramp pretty regular. That's why I switched to solid points. No problems with them. I haven't tried hollow points in the MKIV yet.

Only ammo I have ever had trouble with is Super X . It once in a while gives me a split case but I still use it as it has always been minute of a gophers eye.
