Very cool! Shared it! Would hope it was tested when dealing with a lot of sand and crud though....

That is a neat setup. The level of innovation we've seen over the past few years is nothing short of amazing!

Interesting.

But in the fog of war what's to keep you from grabbing your empty mag for a reload since it's in the same spot as a (full) mag?

I was wondering that myself. Granted the weight would be totally different from an empty mag to a full one. That would be one clue.

Empties go in the back, no? The front magazine is raised up, so that would be an obvious physical indicator.

$29.99 US......I can see why they are on backorder .

It pops up as it moves forward, so, no.

Weight, maybe, but with adrenaline pumping?

It looks (well, more sounds) like it would crush a pack of smokes. As they say on Dragon's Den/Shark Tank - "I'm out".

Now I'm following you. I guess the dump pouch is still safe. I've got some HSGI Tacos arriving shortly from OST to compliment my Costa leg rig.

If it says "AR", "magazine" or "magazine accessory" - it's gone...

Rifle mag's only go in my dump mag. Pistol mags are on the deck. Also only mags that have rounds left in the mag go in the dump mag. If it's a dry mag y would you keep it?

USMC Regs are you try to bring back all mags you left with, leave nothing for the enemy to use.

Worry about it after when it's clean up time and if it's a bug out before you can oh well. I would rather clean a latrine :p

You don't stick empty mags in the same pouch as loaded mags. Not good.

It's still a neat system for feeding magazines forward - even if you don't use it as a dump pouch.

Your not always going back to an area where you can get more magazines. Keeping what you can that can be used again when you have down time is kind of advantageous. If you want to throw away mags and then have nothing else if your operating out of say a strong point in the middle of nowhere, be my guest at getting good at hand feeding your rifle through the ejection port.
